Quantum Consultants Unite for Eurostars Challenge ‘SupremeQ’ to Advance Photonic Quantum Computing

ORCA Computing, Pixel Photonics, Sparrow Quantum, and the Niels Bohr Institute (NBI) have introduced their collaboration on the Eurostars undertaking ‘SupremeQ,’ geared toward accelerating the event and commercialization of photonic quantum computing applied sciences. Supported by Eurostars funding, the undertaking will leverage single-photon sources from Sparrow Quantum and NBI, single-photon detectors from Pixel Photonics, and full-stack photonic quantum computing system structure from ORCA Computing.

The consortium goals to drive breakthrough innovation in photonic quantum computing, addressing key challenges akin to system engineering for scale and excessive acquisition prices. The undertaking targets pioneering options for efficiency, packaging, and system integration, with the last word aim of attaining common fault-tolerant quantum computing.
